Sad News: Former Tough Enough III Star will undergo brain surgery

Matthew Lee Cappotelli is an American former professional wrestler, last working in OVW, the primary developmental territory for WWE until February 2008. He ended his career due to a malignant brain tumor, which has been fully removed. The tumor is very large and there is a part of it that is inoperable.

As noted Tough Enough III winner Matt Cappotelli is getting an MRI as he prepares for his second brain surgery.

The first one was removed 10 years ago has returned and is more aggressive this time whereas His wife noted that the tumor is very large and there is a part of it that is inoperable.

Cappotelli and John Hennigan (who later went on to be known as John Morrison/Johnny Mundo) won the third season of Tough Enough but Cappotelli was forced to retire after being diagnosed with a brain tumor in December 2005. The tumor was removed in 2007 but it has since returned. He remained under contract with WWE until 2009.
