Jose Alberto Rodriguez(Alberto Del Rio), 43, who was facing years in jail over an alleged hours of beatings and sexual assault charges that were scheduled to go to trial in January, looks to be off the hook with the alleged victim recanting her story.
T he woman, his former girlfriend, recanted the story and apologized to his family for the trouble she caused.The charges are being dropped as without the testimony of a victim, even with police having evidence of marks and bruising all over the woman’s body, there is no case.
It is believed everything on the case will be finalized after an upcoming hearing.
SAN ANTONIO- Alberto Del Rio has been arrested and is facing charges of sexual assault after he reportedly assaulted a woman.
When reporting the crime to police, the victim also said Chucuan slapped her across the head. When she asked him what he was doing, he allegedly slapped her over the head again.
The victim told police they walked downstairs and he forced her to wear a dress and dance for him. She told him she didn't want to and he said not to cry because if she did, he would take her son and drop him in the middle of the road somewhere.
According to an arrest affidavit, the woman told police Chucuan allegedly sexually assaulted her and had her injuries photographed.
