WWE Reportedly Interested In TNA Star Matt Hardy- Why Was Matt Hardy At WWE HQ?
It appears WWE is already looking into bringing back a former star who has made waves in the pro-wrestling industry under the TNA banner.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter WWE has sent out “feeler” regarding TNA superstar Matt Hardy. Hardy has reportedly gotten “feelers from intermediaries” that Triple H would like him back under the WWE umbrella once his contract with TNA expires next spring.
Hardy, who has creative control in TNA, has been one of pro-wrestling’s biggest stars in the past year and one of the most unique characters for his Broken Matt Hardy angle. It’s unclear how WWE would utilize Hardy if he did return to company but one has to speculate that WWE would also want to ramp up their efforts to bring back Jeff Hardy as well.
A reunion of the Hardy Boys would be big money for WWE, even if it were brief before splitting them up for singles competition.
As of now, it appears WWE is at least looking into bringing Matt Hardy back into the fold.

He may say different if WWE does in fact buy TNA this week.
