Eric Young has finally signed a full deal with WWE & will redebut very soon!

Former TNA star Eric Young may have signed a deal with WWE.

In April, Eric Young made his WWE debut at NXT. He confronted Samoa Joe in a segment, which led to a match. The then NXT Champion would defeat EY by submission, and hasn’t been seen since.

There hadn’t been much about Young signing with WWE throughout the summer. However, according to PW Insider, the belief is that he has agreed to a deal to join the company. The report notes that hasn’t been confirmed.

Young made a name for himself in TNA from 2004-16. This saw him become the TNA World Heavyweight Champion in once, along with two tag title reigns.

TNA stars have seen plenty of airtime on NXT, which may be where Young ends up for the foreseeable future. Joe held the NXT Championship from April to August. Austin Aries joined the brand in January, and has since wrestled three TakeOver matches, including defeating No Way Jose at Brooklyn II. Bobby Roode started appearing on NXT TV three weeks ago, and defeated Andrade Almas in his debut. James Storm could even return for another NXT appearance.

How Young will fare, in comparison to those three, remains to be seen. He’ll be re-debuted in some way, which will have to make fans forget he submitted to The Samoan Submission Machine in his first outing. Young could work as a singles star, or join the tag team division if he reunites with someone like Roode to reform Team Canada. Related Story: Has EY Signed with WWE?

Goldberg is still in New York City as of this morning. He finished his promotional work for WWE 2K17 on Friday.

As previously reported, Bill Goldberg is in New York City promoting WWE 2K17. Goldberg noted that he won’t be wrestling anytime soon, as he underwent double knee surgery six weeks ago.
